But it only cost $13.82…

Put this on your list of places never to eat It’s the Spring Garden Family Restaurant. That’s at the corner of 10th and Thomas Street. Let’s see, where to start… First off, father got his food in different shifts. So he got his meat but didn’t get the vegetables until about 5 minutes later. Then after he was halfway done eating, I got my food. It’s pretty difficult to srew up strip steak, but I could have resoled my shoes with it. Finally when father was almost done eating entirely, they decided to give him his baked potato. And everything seemed to be swimming in meat juice. The lady at a table near us asked me what I was eating, so after I told her she changed her order and got eggs. It didn’t look very appealing either. And to top it all off, they only serve Diet Pepsi. But then again so does Pizza Hut, but that doesn’t stop me from eating there. And it’s where we should have eaten tonight. But it should have stopped me from eating at the Spring Garden Family Restaurant. Now I know why there are never any cars in their parking lot. The good news is that the bill was only $13.82.

4 Reasons I Should get Another Kitty…

1. They’re so cute…
2. That little purring noise they make…
3. I already have a name picked out…
4. I really miss the little guy…

Top 5 Reasons I Should not get another Cat…

1. Little pieces of cat litter stuck in the carpet…
2. Cat hair all over…
3. Hacked- up hair balls…
4. Cat litter boxs that need to be cleaned…
5. Pee stains on the downstairs carpet…
All those reasons and more. But, yeah, you know I’ll do it anyway!

A Very Long Life…

Dear Boomer was a lot older than I thought she was. According to this she was around 85 or so. Not a bad life. And she was relatively healthy til the end.

the Boomer Chronicles…the Final Chapter…

Boomer, age 17, died yesterday. In her favorite spot behind the dryer. I think she went to sleep and just didn’t wake up.She hasn’t been looking very well for the last few days, so perhaps it’s for the best.
Some of her favorite pastimes were:
Laying in the sun…
Laying in the bathtub…I never could figure that one out.
Smacking the dog on the nose…one of the MANY dogs we’ve ever had.
Teasing the dog with her tail.
Sitting on the dryer…cuz it’s warmer there.
Refusing to eat…even though I had opened 3 different cans of food.
Sneaking up the stairs to try and pounce on the dog.
Sitting on aluminum foil…
Some of her unfortunate mistakes…
Getting on top of the grandfather clock, only to find she didn’t know how to get down…
Jumping into the dryer and going around for a few spins with the wet clothes…
Sneaking outside in the winter to find she didn’t like snow…
And my all time favorite…sitting on a hot stove burner…and burning her butt. She didn’t realize the burner was hot and didn’t bother to move even after her tail started smoking.
But she got to take her final nap in her favorite spot behind the dryer.
