My EMPLOYER gave me a .20 raise today. Yup, that’s 20 cents. Woopdie doo! I guess I’m supposed to be excited about that. I’m doing a GREAT job, BUT I spend too much time on after call work and too much time on calls themselves. Apparently it’s no longer all about serving the customer it’s about how long your call lasts! So, in other words, it no longer matters how I treat the customer, only how long I talk to them! So possibly the new motto for the company should be “screw the customer” and do it quickly!
